Our 7-days Serengeti Great-Migration safari takes you into the northern, western or southern Serengeti depending on location of the great migration at the time and offers the best chance of seeing death-defying leaps and heart-wrenching near misses as you spend multiple nights and days in the world-famous Serengeti National Park.
Calving season is from Dec through March, Green Season from April-June & November to Mid Dec, and River Crossing Grumeti and Mara River from July-October.
Depending on your flight arrival time, if you arrive late evening you will be met by one of our drivers at the airport and drive for 45mins (JRO) to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the reserved hotel for the night. If you arrive early in the morning you will be picked up at the airport and start driving to Lake Manyara NP the same day of Safari with breakfast stop in Arusha.
A full day in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its green scenery, varied bird life, tree-climbing lions, hippos and baboons. Early sunrise game drive and picnic lunch. In the afternoon, drive to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast at 7.00 am. Game drive en route to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is the largest and most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest-migration, herds of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles. Dinner and overnight in the heart of Serengeti !
Two full days of tracking the great migration from Dec-March this tour takes you to the southern Serengeti(Ndutu), in April/May/June(Central Serengeti and Grumeti River) and from July-October this tour goes to Mara River where annual great migration crossing is takes place. In the afternoon you drive en route to the central Serengeti for the big cats photographic safari Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge
Wake up for morning game drive in central Serengeti. Drive back for breakfast then after breakfast start to drive to Ngorongoro crater with game drive en route. Arrive at Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight with an excellent view of the crater. Simba Campsite is the only common campsite in the area, and that the facilities are sometimes difficult. We recommend a night in one of the lodges for those who will book a Camping!
A full day in the Ngorongoro Crater. There is a very high possibility of spotting the big 5 in one day: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo and leopard. Lunch will take place at the picnic site at the crater floor. In the afternoon, drive to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast start drive to Arusha. Drop of at your hotel or airport for flight to other destination/ return home.
