2 days tanzania safari to mikumi

You will be picked up from Dar es Salaam early morning (5am) and drive to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro town, this drive will take up to 6hrs. On arrival in mikumi national park you start with afternoon game drive until sunset.

Dinner and overnight at Lodge/ Tented Camp orTanapa Tourist cottage. (Inside the park) full board basis. This is depends on your budget.

Mikumi was gazetted as a National Park in 1964 and is named after the spindle shaped Borassus palm trees. The Mkata plain supports vast herds of plains game such as wildebeest, impala, zebra and giraffe, hunted by their associated predators; while you are more likely to find elephants, buffalos, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest, greater kudu, roan and sable antelope in the surrounding less fertile hills.

Early morning game drive in mikumi national park and back to the camp for late breakfast. After breakfast drive back to Dar es Salaam, on arrival in Dar es Salaam you will be dropped at the hotel, or airport for late flight back home or other destination.
