day 1: dar es salaam/ Nyerere National Park

morning depart for Nyerere National Park you will have a short break for hot lunch in kibiti.

the journey to selous will take about 5 to 6 hours.

arrive for afternoon boat safari along the mighty great rufiji river. boat safari brings you into close contact with hippo, crocodile and fantastic birdlife.

animals make their way to the river to drink and boat may approach elephant, waterbuck and other on the river banks to within a few meters. crocodile glide into the water as your boat approaches and hippo appear in frightening proximity, grunting and blowing steam.

dinner and overnight : will be at campsite/ tented camp or lodge (inside or outside the reserve). accommodation depends on your budget.

day 2: game drive in Nyerere National Park

you will have full day game drive in Nyerere National Park exploration of the reserve by 4x4 tourist vehicle; will permit you to have good photographic opportunities and the chance to explore different sections of vast park.

the Nyerere National Park is the largest game reserve in africa, covering the area of 50,000 square kilometres.

selous is famous for its elephants, commonly seen are lions, wild dogs, buffalo, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebra, wildebeest and greater kudu.

dinner and overnight : will be at campsite/ tented camp or lodge (inside or outside the reserve). accommodation will depend on your budget.

day 3: Nyerere National Park- wilderness walking safari

wake up early in the morning and have a cup of coffee or tea, then go out for wilderness walking safari with guidance of an armed ranger which will take two to two and a half hours.

walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel for african wild. you will get the chance to touch the nature, see the different foot print and droppings of different wild animals and small creatures that you can’t see them during the game drive. after walking safari you will go back to the camp/ lodge for breakfast then go to the reserve for game drive until sunset

Day 4: Nyerere National Park/ Morogoro Town

Morning after breakfast, you will start your journey to Morogoro town with game drive en route, the journey is the most amazing and truly wild and untouched areas of Tanzania.

The drive will take you up into the Uluguru Mountains across rivers and pass through small local villages and farms. The drive is tiring but possibly the most rewarding and adventures on the southern circuit. Arrive Morogoro for Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Lodge.

Day 5: Morogoro town to Ruaha NP

After breakfast start the journey to Ruaha National Park with stopover in Iringa Town for lunch. Afternoon game drives in the park look hippo, crocodile, waterbuck, reedbuck and buffalo venture to the river’s edge to drink, attracting the attention of lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog and jackal. There are many birds in the park include Eurasia migrants that comes to visit the park twice a year.

Dinner and overnight : will be at Campsite/ Msembe tourist banda/ New Tourist Cottage/ Tented camp or Lodge (inside or outside the park). Accommodation depends on your budget.

Day 6: Game drive in Ruaha National Park

Morning after breakfast, you will go out with packed lunch for full day game drives in Ruaha National Park.

A fine network of game viewing roads follows the Great Ruaha River and its seasonal tributaries, where during the dry season impala, waterbuck and other antelopes risk their life for a sip of life sustaining water. And the risk is considerable not only from the pride of 20-plus lion that lord over the savanna, but also from the cheetah that stalk the open grassland.

Dinner and overnight : will be at Campsite/ Msembe tourist banda/ New Tourist Cottage/ Tented camp or Lodge (inside or outside the park). Accommodation depends on your budget.

Day 7: Game drive in Ruaha National Park

You will have another full day game drive to explore the beautiful of the park, with its full of rocky, kopjes and ancient baobab trees.

Dinner and overnight : will be at Campsite/ Msembe Old Banda/ New Tourist cottage/ Lodge or Tented Camp. (Inside the park). Accommodation depends on your budget.

Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8: Ruaha National Park / Udzungwa Mountain National Park

After breakfast game viewing en route to Udzungwa Mountain National Park. Udzungwa Mountain National Park is one of Tanzania’s most outstanding, pristine, paradise and unique exciting wilderness mountains forested with greatest altitudinal range of forest. It is one of the thirty four “World Biodiversity Hotspot” and one of 200 WWF Eco Region of global critical importance.

Dinner and Overnight : at Campsite/Twiga hotel/Tented Camp or Lodge. Full Board. Accommodation depends on your budget.

Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 9: Wonderful Walking in Udzungwa Mountain National Park

Wake up for breakfast then your driver will drive you to the starting point after completes the park formalities. Start walking in this beautiful Park enjoying and experience the stunning natural beauty of the Park.

Picnic lunch in the bush then proceed exploring the area including the wonderful Sanje waterfall which is 170m high. You can get a chance to swim in one of the waterfall plunge pools. You will walk up to 1600m above sea level with beautiful view of kilombero valley.

You will get the chance to see six species of monkeys include endemic species of Sanje crested mangabey and Iringa red colobus Monkey.

Dinner and Overnight : at Campsite/ Twiga hotel/ Tented Camp or Lodge. Accommodation depends on your budget.

Day 10: Udzungwa to Mikumi NP

After breakfast check out and launches the journey to Mikumi National Park this will take about two hours. Arrive for game drive in Mikumi NP.

Animals commonly found Include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, elephants and many more. Wild dog can come and go in this park. The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park.

Dinner and Overnight : at Lodge/ Tented Camp/ Tanapa Tourist cottage. (Inside the park or outside the park). Accommodation depends on your budget.

Day 11: Mikumi NP to Dar es Salaam.

Start the day with early morning game drive. Enjoy the sunrise with morning game drive, this will take about two hours and a half and then drive back to the camp for breakfast.

After breakfast drive back to Dar es Salaam with stopover on the way for the lunch. On arrival in Dar es Salaam you will be dropped off at airport, hotel or ferry terminal for the last ferry to Zanzibar.
