Four days southern Tanzania- Ruaha National parks is a short tour which will take you to most exiting places with lots of wildlife resources. Costs for this trip will always depends on the number of people sharing the car and also a place chosen for accommodation in the park whether is lodge safari , tented camp or just basic camping safari. Day 1. Dar es Salaam – Ruaha National Park.

You will be picked up from Dar es Salaam early morning (5am) and drive to Ruaha National Park via Morogoro town and Mikumi National Park; this drive will take 9 to 10hrs. You will stop on the way for hot Lunch- Tanzanian Cuisine. The journey will take you through different landscape, vegetation and escarpment. You then pass the Sisal plantations and begin to get glimpses of the beautiful Uluguru Mountains that soar above the plains and the town of Morogoro. The highway then posses through Mikumi National Park and you will get the opportunity to view the game along the road. Beyond Mikumi the road will take you through the baobab valley where you can get a chance to see thousands of baobab trees.  Later on you will start to climbs the Kitonga Gorge eight kilometers high. The road will take you to Iringa town and continue driving to Ruaha National Park, on the way along the road side you will see local Maasai tribe selling beaded, necklaces and belts. Arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge outside the park.

Day 2: Full day Ruaha National Park

After breakfast drive to the gate and start a full day game drive inside the park until sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at Msembe Old Bandas/ New Tourist cottage/ Lodge or Tented Camp. Full Board. (Inside the park). Accommodation depends on your budget.

A fine network of game-viewing roads follows the Great Ruaha and its seasonal tributaries, where, during the dry season, impala, waterbuck and other antelopes risk their life for a sip of life-sustaining water. And the risk is considerable: not only from the prides of 20-plus lion that lord over the savannah, but also from the cheetahs that stalk the open grassland and the leopards that lurk in tangled riverine thickets. This impressive array of large predators is boosted by both striped and spotted hyena, as well as several conspicuous packs of the highly endangered African wild dog.

Meals Plan; -Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 3: Ruaha National Park / Iringa Town.
Work up for early morning game drive until 08:30hrs then drive back at the camp, lodge or cottage for breakfast. After breakfast you will continue with game drive until lunch time then start to drive to Iringa town for dinner and Overnight at Neema Craft or equivalent.

Day 4: Iringa to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast start driving to Dar es Salaam via Mikumi and Morogoro town. Lunch on the way. Arrive to Dar es Salaam late afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or airport for your next destination.

Meal plan: -Breakfast and Lunch.

End of safari.

Ruaha has various different levels of accommodation available in and just outside the park. These range in price from the park bandas at around $50 a night to $800 a night luxury lodges.
